Animals and their homes:
Chicken: barn
Bear: cave
Spider: web
Bird: nest
Dog: kennel
Cat: basket
Horse: stable
Rabbit: hutch
Animals
have been adapted specifically to their nature habitat, so they can live in the entire world, from the cold pole
to the hot desert.
Tropical
rain forest around equator area has become a home for at least half of animal and plant species in the entire
world.
AUTUMN FOREST
Autumn
forest which has friendly and humid climate is found a lot at south of conifer forest. Subtropics autumn forest
is sprout up with wide leaf trees which topple their leaves at autumn
season, like oak, maple, and beech. This forest looks arid and dead at winter season. But at summer, this
forest is rich with wild life animals such as deer, fox, and bird.
CONIFER
FOREST
The wide
conifer forest area could be found at North America, Europe, and Asia. Most of the trees have needle leaves,
like pine and casuarinas. Animals live here will have
enough food and protection.
DESERT
Desert
is the driest place at the earth. There are a lot of sand, stone, and pebble there. Only the strongest animals
can withstand to live there. Some animals develop many adaptation methods to live at desert. Many animals can
withstand without water for quite a long time, other animals only get water from their food. There is also
nocturnal animal which hunt their victim only at night time.
MOUNTAIN
Mountains can be found at the entire
continent, at hot or cold area. Highest areas have colder temperature. Mountains have many habitats such as
forest, grassy plain, and stony land. Some mountains pass are covered with ice and snow all the year. Animals
which live there should be able to endure to cold and sharp wind of mountain weather.
POLE
Two
poles are Arctic, which is in the North Pole and Antarctica, which is the South pole. These two poles are
unfriendly habitat because of long and dark winter season, wind as cold as ice, and freeze temperature. No
wonder, there is only few animals live there.
SAVANNAH
Savannah
is an open wide plain with limited rainfall just enough to grow the grass. This bioma reserves food for some animals such as antelope, zebra, bison, and lion.
Savannah covers more than quarter of earth surface.
SEA
More
than 2/3 of earth surfaces are covered with sea. Sea life is the most various with animals like fishes, sponges,
and shells live around coral reef in tropical sea.
